Mission Statement

Chiropractic care isn't just for aches and pains.  In fact, every chiropractic adjustment further integrates your nervous system to the rest of your body by removing interferences found at the spine known as vertebral subluxations.  

Your body is constantly regenerating and repairing regardless of injury or illness, and ensuring that your nervous system is communicating clearly maintains your body's innate capacity to heal.  

More importantly, the bodies of infants and children change at much faster rates than that of adults.  This is largely due to their continual growth and development; making it vital that they receive regular specific chiropractic care.  

Pregnancy is a time of dynamic change for all parties involved, but it can be especially challenging for mothers.  

During pregnancy the female body becomes more flexible to accommodate a growing belly and baby.  This is achieved via a hormone known as “relaxin” that is released during the first trimester causing the ligaments of a woman to become less "stiff.”  Because of this action a pregnant woman's pelvis can also become less stable and cause her to feel some discomfort and pain.  Specific chiropractic adjustments address this discomfort by restoring normal function to the spine and pelvis.

Additionally, Dr. Candy is Webster Technique Certified by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA.)  

Per the ICPA website, the Webster technique was designed to help optimize normal physiological function for both the mother and the baby as a way to support a more comfortable, safer, and easier birth.
